The UK has two forms of healthcare, the NHS which is available to anyone who has a right to be in the UK and is publicly funded and the private healthcare system which is formed of private companies and hospitals.

Often consultants and doctors will work for both the NHS and have a private practice where they will see patients usually much than would be possible through the NHS.

For example in the cosmetic surgery sector many cosmetic surgeons or plastic surgeons work for both the NHS but will also perform procedures such as breast enlargement, breast uplift, breast reduction and cosmetic surgery for the body such as tummy tuck, liposuction etc

Other sectors such as gynaecologists and cosmetic dentists and more also see patients on the NHS as well as private.
